I’m upgrading and thus looking for a new owner for my D700 camera and housing. The uw-housing and camera body is on the market separately or as a package. I will consider letting an 8 inch dome go with it, at extra cost, to bring the new owner up to speed.

The camera is bought from Japan Photo in Norway May 2010, and has 13.500 exposures on it. Serial # 2299845. It’s insurance is valid until May 2014, and follows the camera to its new owner along with the original proof of purchase and insurance.

The housing comes with standard viewfinder (The WS 45 viewfinder shown in the images is not included), dual 5-pin Nikonos strobe connectors and has type 4 port opening. Type 4 means it takes the latest and widest ports and domes available from Subal, accommodating the wider Nikkor-lenses like the 14-24mm..

The camera is in mint condition. The housing has signs of wear, but is in perfect working condition. Subal housings are extremely well built and this one will serve future owners as long as there are D700′s available.

Serious buyers are aware that port, dome, lenses, strobes, arms and so on are required to actually use this fine equipment, and either already own or are planning to buy what’s needed. This package offers an affordable platform to enter full-frame underwater photography, and I’m available for advise regarding your options.

I’m open for offers, preferably not rudely far from my initial thoughts of 1200 EUR for the camera and 2000 EUR for the housing. Let me hear your thoughts.
