Sometimes I can get caught by an underwater scene without any particular object in it. I can’t always tell what it is, but its typically a combination of shapes, light and shadows that sets a certain mood in the scene.

Sunrays are often present. There is something special about seing the sun from underwater, with rays penetrating through the surface.

This scene was in shallow water at the end of todays dive. The kelp was slowly waving back and forth in the swell, beautifully lit by the sun and my flashguns.
