A common nudibranch, present from north Africa to the north of Norway.

Easy to spot. Often seen on red algae or kelp. This gives a natural negative space for images, and its easy to photograph.

Feeds on moss animals (bryozoans) like Electra pilosa or Membranipora membracea.
